Cannes Yachting Festival 2023: The Luxury Riviera Yachting Event that sets the bar for the Autumn Show Season.
The Cannes Yachting Festival is the Mediterranean’s must attend event for yacht builders and equipment manufacturers who want to promote their brands and sell to a discerning audience of boaters.
With its breathtaking location at the historic Vieux Port displaying some jaw-dropping motor yachts and equipment, and a hop across the water to the newer Port Canto sail area, the Cannes Yachting Festival once again provided the perfect stage to reveal some of Europe’s most stunning new yachts.
The Saltwater Stone team returned to Cannes to support several clients with one-to-one media interviews and showcase their stand activity and product developments.
Yanmar, who was a Green Zone partner at this year’s show, marked a significant milestone in the company’s green energy transition with the approval of its engines now certified as compatible for use with Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO).
For our client Smartgyro, Cannes Yachting Festival is a great platform for its gyro stabilization technology. The stabilizers are ideal for new builds and refit installations on a variety of recreational powerboats, superyachts and tenders, and offer a new level of onboard comfort and the luxury of uninterrupted time on the water.
The show’s air-conditioned press office, ideally positioned at the top of the Palais building with far reaching views across the show, was a welcome relief from the heat of pontoons and show stands. It was an ideal opportunity to catch up with our marine journalist colleagues, many of whom we hadn’t seen since pre-Covid, and discuss our clients’ plans for the coming months.
What an amazing week we had! Cannes Yachting Festival seems to get better every year and we’ll be back again in 2024, so we look forward to seeing you there!
